I told my high school coach Mickey Thompson that is where I wanted to go and to tell all the other teams that I was committed and was def going there. It was just that simple.
Justin Godsey: Why was Virginia Tech your college of choosing over colleges such as Penn State, Virgina, North Carolina and Maryland

Justin Godsey: During your time at Virginia Tech what Bowl team did you face was the hardest team you faced in the BCS ?
Ed Wang: Well I would say Alabama during the regular season was our hardest opponent. In BCS bowls I would say Cincinnati. They were a great team and great challenge. We pulled out a win in the Orange Bowl and it was a huge win for Virginia Tech and myself as well.
Justin Godsey: From Virginia Tech you declared to the NFL draft how excited were you to declare to the NFL Draft.
Ed Wang: I was ecstatic. I had wanted to play in the NFL since I was a child. To be able to attempt to accomplish this dream was incredible.
Justin Godsey: What was the phone call like from the Buffalo Bill when they drafted you ?
Ed Wang: I was so excited for them to give me a shot and was honored to be affiliated with such a great organization.
Justin Godsey: What player in the Bills locker room helped you get situated in with the team
Ed Wang: All of them. Our team locker room was very supportive to Rookies. I think sticking together with my fellow rookies def help make the transition a lot easier.
Justin Godsey: How different was it playing college football to the NFL
Ed Wang: Extremely and not at the same time. First the players were a lot better and every was a specialist of their craft. Longer meeting times and days, but at the end of the day, it was just football, the game we had been playing as a child and still loved it.
Justin Godsey: Tell us about your Bills debut.
Ed Wang: It was great. To finally be able to get on the field was an amazing feeling to be able to accomplish a child hood dream.
Justin Godsey: You are currently a Free Agent. But what are we to expect from Ed Wang in 2012 ?
Ed Wang: You are going to expect a determined player that will continue to play the game as hard as he can and give it his all for the love of the game!
